RIV25: Builders' sessions
This is my third year at AWS and I have been an AWS customer or using AWS services for years. But this is the first year that I get to attend reInvent. Am I stoked ? Yes, Absolutely. Add on to the fact that I am leading two Builders’ sessions which are on repeat has been absolutely wonderful. For my personality and character, I find it hard to network and these sessions when you are collaborating or working on the same goal helps me more than the audience in some cases - to evolve, learn more about self and so on. So what are these sessions you ask ?
Session 1
Elevate Multi-Tenant SaaS Operations: DevOps Strategy with Kubernetes
Is your SaaS platform ready to scale from hundreds to thousands of customers while maintaining operational efficiency? Join this hands-on builders session to create a production-grade DevOps strategy using Kubernetes, addressing the challenges of managing multiple environments while onboarding tenants across different tiers. Working directly with an AWS expert, you’ll implement automated tenant management and progressive release strategies using tools like Argo Workflows, Flux, and Helm. Learn how platform engineering can help you overcome SaaS DevOps complexities, reduce operational overhead, and safely test your new features with early adopter customers.

Session 2
Build and automate policy as code
Move beyond manual infrastructure reviews by implementing automated policy controls for AWS CloudFormation and Terraform deployments. In this hands-on session, you will build a complete policy as code pipelines, learn to implement security checks, pre-commit hooks, and implement custom organizational rules that catch issues early. Through guided exercises, you will understand shift-left security practices and create automated feedback loops that enhance infrastructure governance.
